Wonderfull Chinese Blue & White Kraak Porcelain Teapot Wanli Jingdezhen c 1600

  
Guaranteed over 400 years old! The barrel shaped teapot with ribbed sides and peony alternated with lanscape in panels. The size is total hight : 19,5 cm. The condition of this lovely teapot is good exept for a long crack in the bottom going up at the side in a starcrack where there is a small 4mm filled hole in the middle.

The handle been off with a clean brake and related line to the rim. The lid is perfect and also the spout is untouched and in perfect condition. At the side of the spout is no damage but a flaw in the manufacturing also some more manufacturing flaws.

See also the pictures, they say more than words. Good blue color and hard to find. Although it has damage it is a unique item that will go well in any good private collection or museum collection of antique chinese. Litterature: Maura Rinaldi - Kraak Porcelain. A moment in the history of trade.
