Wonderful Chinese Republic Period Famille Rose Eggshell Vase 9 Tall Porcelain

  
Here is a wonderful Republic period Chinese eggshell famille rose vase. I have provenance with this piece and can provide a copy of a photograph from the 1940s when this vase was received as a Christmas gift. I also have the names of the people who received it, the man was a noteworthy Federal Judge who was from Chicago. Vase stands approx 9 tall and is made of thin eggshell porcelain. The bottom has a blue reign mark, I believe and a red stamp China mark. Im confident this dates to the Republic period, but Im not sure if it is from late or early in the period. The vase has a poem with 3 red seals.

The vase has some dirty spots, but I see no chips or cracks. I see one paint scuff on one of the characters in the poem, but otherwise see no flaws. Vase has wonderful details and colors and displays wonderfully. It would make a very nice addition to any collection of Chinese Porcelain.
