For your consideration we offer a stunning Chinese porcelain and pottery water jar or vessel. This is a beautifully proportioned and substantial piece standing approximately 11" in height with a diameter of 9", an opening of 4.75, and weighing just over 5 pounds. Exquisitely detailed with a multitude of Asian figures circumventing the jar in extraordinary bold hues of chartreuse yellow, deep orange, and emerald green appears to convey a story.

A relic of the not so distant past who's precise age is undetermined, this quality vessel is in overall good condition. Uniform crazing is seen to the exterior porcelain center section of the piece which is flanked on the top and bottom by embossed or patterned clay pottery bands that are excellent. No chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections are found. Occasional light staining is visible to the bowls interior, a hallmark is seen on the base. Appropriate wear with a history of prior use is evidenced so please review the photos as they are a descriptive part of the listing.
