Stunning Antique Chinese Ch'ing / Qing Dynasty Porcelain Vase, Marked

  
Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely hand painted Chinese Ch'ing/Qing Dynasty porcelain 11 vase, c. This vase is exceptionally beautiful for this time period with fine details in the hand enameled portrait scene. There are two large cobalt blue medallions with one having a figural scene and the other having assorted flowers. Between the two panels/medallions are floral designs with beautiful coloration. Double blue rings encircle the vase at the top and bottom and a blue "diaper" pattern decoration composed of repeated small geometrical shapes such as diamonds, squares, etc. Connecting with one another are around the top below the mouth. The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, although there is a small firing flaw in the enamel in the white shoulder area above and to the right of portrait scene medallion. Measures 11" high with a top diameter of 2", maximum width is 5" and the base is 3 1/4" in diameter.
