DESCRIPTION: A very fine & rare Chinese Qing Dynasty imperial copper red glaze porcelain Yuhuchun vase. Red glaze is very uniform in color on the entire piece & run short just above the foot rim & expose a fine narrow line of white porcelain. Base with underglaze blue 6-character seal mark of Qianlong and of the period.
Too bad it was drilled to make into a lamp. 11.75 inches tall for the vase alone, or 25 inches tall overall as a lamp. Mouth damaged with old repairs & 1 piece already came off. Portions of the mouth lost.
The repair's red paint could be easily removed by paint thinner or similar solvent. Minor short scratches & rubs on body. Repairs on carved hard wood stand with old glue residuals.
