Pair of Large c1890 Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain Figural Vases. Presented is a handsome pair of antique, hand painted Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vases. These vases date to around the 1870s-1890s. The vases are clean and bright, made in a lovely classic form, beautifully hand painted with colorful scenes of traditional Chinese figures engaged in various activities.

Simulated handles feature richly detailed teal-colored foo dogs with the traditional carmine red accenting the front paws. The pair of vases is in excellent overall condition. Surface wear is extremely trivial and except for one fleabite chip in the rim of one vase, we find no chips, cracks, damages or repairs. Each vase is about 15 1/4 inches tall with a mouth diameter of 6 inches.
