Pair Antique Qing Chinese Export Chinoiserie Famille Verte Porcelain Vase Lamps. Today we are delighted to offer for sale a fabulous pair of antique Chinese Export Famille Verte porcelain lamps! This beautiful and classic set features a pair of Chinese Export porcelain vases, in the Famille Verte style, and dates to the late Qing/Early Republic period. Each vase features a baluster-shaped body intricately and expertly designed and hand-painted with rare and whimsical still lifes of Chinese furniture, vases, and elegant objets d'art in a fantasy-like garden with bonsais, foo dogs, and lotus flowers. The pieces are very colorful and truly whimsical and are mounted as lamps with bespoke carved wood bases and caps that resemble terracotta roof tiles. The lamps are pictured with lampshades for illustrative purposes but the shades are not part of the sale. Lamps present well and are in good antique condition, with wear and patina commensurate with age.
The bases have minor stable age-related fractures; one vase has a faint (and hard to notice) hairline fracture near the top. Lampshades are not included with sale. Add elegant Chinese Chinoiserie style to any interior with this fine and beautiful pair of lamps...
