A Nanking Cargo porcelain teabowl and saucer decorated in the'Batavian Bamboo & Peony' pattern, the interiors featuring a double-clump leafy bamboo to the left of a flowering peony, the exteriors under a cafe-au-lait glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 11.5cm, the teabowl is 4cm tall. There are a few small kiln flaws and superfical crazing lines to the centre of the saucer and similar kiln flaws inside the teabowl; otherwise in excellent condition.
