Chinese Porcelain Vase Red Hare's Fur Sang de Boeuf Glaze Qing Dynasty 36cm Beautiful Chinese vase with a deep dark red glaze, with streaks of darker red, called Hare's Fur by some. About 14 1/4 inches tall, or about 36.2cm.
Very good condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. Base drilled to make the vase into a lamp in the first half of the 20th Century. Roughness on the footrim where it was snapped out of the kiln after firing (this is how you tell the authentic examples).
This roughness is not damage - its how it was made. If you want the lamp parts, please ask about them because we may still have them. Made in China during the Qing Dynasty.
It was probably made in the 1700's. Photos taken inside and outside.
