C1850s Impressive Pair Colorful Chinese Rose Mandarin Tall Porcelain Vases. Presented is a handsome pair of antique Chinese rose mandarin vases. These vases date to around the 1840s-1860s.

The vases are made in a lovely classic form, beautifully hand painted with colorful scenes of traditional Chinese figures engaged in various activities. Around the scenes of people are lush floral and foliate designs throughout. The pair of vases is in good overall condition.

There is some minor wear to the paint here and there, some of the faces are less distinct. One of the vases has three chips around the rim. Of the chips, one has a well done glue repair which is not very noticeable from the top, without turning the vase upside down. Another chip has a glue repair that is done less well and is slightly more noticeable. The third chip is missing entirely.
