A blue and white plate decorated with a central scene of 3 male figures (literati) in a landscape pagode scene. The scene is painted in a very interesting way because the two figures on the right are standing in a pagode but you can see the landscape through the walls.

To the left en stairway which goes down is visible. The border with four panels of flowers between geometric shading. Marked to the back with the six character mark for Chenghua within a double circle. Absolute nice quality porcelain and painting.
