An absolutely stunning antique Chinese famille rose deep plate with beautiful decorations of palace life. The details of the painting is extraordinary nice. Just look at the background paintings in the scene where four seasons of flowers are shown, or the letter that the man is writing, you can almost make out the content of the letter!

The boarder of the plate is very rare and in the background colors around the border these is yet an other level of details of flowers in gold. Despite being restored to the back with gold lacquer repair, the plate is still very collectible and make a stunning showpiece if you like Chinese famille rose with figure and palace decorations!
