DESCRIPTION : A fine Chinese Qing dynasty famille rose bulb shaped vase in the classic famille rose enamels color palette. Featuring hand gilded gold decoration on one side which was known as " clobbered or clobbering". This was the application of gold to the porcelain which was then refired.
It was usual ly decorated in Europe after the porcelain was imported from China. E xamples dating to the Qianlong period 1750s to the 1780s and also as Canton C.
CONDITION : The vase is in excellent condition with no chips , cracks , lines or repairs. The vase does have gold wear. MEASUREMENTS : 7 " high and 3.25" diameter.
