A Chinese porcelain jar or bowl from early Kangxi period of Qing dynasty. The glaze is called Wucai, which is earlier than fencai that appeared in Qianlong period.
Wucai in early Kangxi period is characterized by its light red and green colors, especially the under-glaze blue color (qinghua). The animal depicted is usually called foo dog, which is really buddhist lion, or qilin.The height is 10cm, diameter 16cm. Kangxi period porcelain pieces are very rare and valuable.
