18th Century Chinese Export Porcelain Covered Vegetable Dish Artichoke Finial. This is a wonderful 18th century Chinese export porcelain covered vegetable dish with artichoke finial, sepia floral sprays, and period monogram. It measures approximately 12-3/4" long, handle to handle, x 8-5/8" x 6-1/4 high to the top of the artichoke finial.

It is over-glaze decorated in sepia and rust tones with gilt stripes, accents, and period monograms, as shown in the photos. The twisted handles show vine, leaf, and berry or flower connecting points. It is in absolutely beautiful estate condition with NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs, and NO restorations. It shows only period production characteristics of trapped sediment and pits, along with age appropriate wear and losses to the over-glaze decoration and monograms, as shown in the photos. This large 18th century Chinese export porcelain covered vegetable dish would be a wonderful period focal point on a sideboard, table, or server.
