This is a very special an unique hand made large plate from the HOI AN HOARD dated to the mid- to late-15th century. The item belongs to a collection found in the deep sea of Vietnam. I selected this piece for its beautiful design in blue with a large bird in the centre of the plate surrounded by flower spray. This rare porcelain piece is also very attractive and impactful due to its proportioned large size and shape. The plate is very delicate and in very good condition (diameter 24cm).
