Jewelry: 1910 - 1939 Art Deco. Antique High fire Porcelain Chinese Famille Rose Medallion Cabinet Wall Plate 8. ANTIQUE HIGHFIRE PORCELAIN CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE MEDALLION PLATE 8. Antique Chinese porcelain decorative plate showing a beautiful hand-painted Famille Rose Medallion design. Four panels encircle a gilded central medallion with figures/scenes such as birds, butterflies, flowers, fruit, and people inside homes separated by heavy scroll-shaped green vines. Plate is shaped with a tall rounded edge along with two additional circular grooves working towards its middle.

Strong shades of peach/orange and green dominate the landscape and complement the white base nicely. Plate measures 8" in diameter x 1" high. Plate shows a moderate amount of age, particularly to the outer edge.

Please carefully inspect this issue using our pictures. Fading of the painted pattern is evident in sections, and minor rubbing of the gilded medallion trim is seen in the plate's middle.
