Antique Chinese porcelain ginger jar 19th Century Nonya Straits Peranakan. A very nice famille rose ginger jar from the second half of the 19th century, probably Tongzhi period. Nice decoration with antique objects on one side and phoenix and flowers on the other side. Condition: The jar has a long star hairline crack to the side, the lid knob got restoration and retouch. Manufacturing flaws, one small star crack in the glaze inside the jar. (not going through) The lid is not fitting perfectly to the jar but is likely original. Lid and jar was commonly made separately and paired later, so sometimes it is not a perfect fit. Hight: 30 cm (with lid). This also includes to carefully look at all pictures.
