Antique 18thC Chinese Qing Yongzheng Blue & White Ca Mau Porcelain Box Cover 1. Flattened domed cover box with peony garden pattern in underglaze blue. One of the larger covered boxes from the Ca Mau shipwreck cargo. The Ca Mau shipwreck was a Chinese Junk found before the Vietnamese coast of the Ca Mau peninsula. It was probably on its way to Batavia in the Dutch East Indies.

Some of the cargo has the Yongzheng reign marks (1723-35) which allowed for the dating to c 1725. Date c 1723-35 Yongzheng period.
